Minister of Defence Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon has met with H.E Kamal Kishore, the Special Representative of the United Nations’ Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction & the Head of United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, in the sidelines of APMCDRR 2024, in Manila.
At the meeting, Minister Ghassan thanked the UNDRR, on behalf of His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, for its continued support to the NDMA and the Maldives.
Minister Ghassan was accompanied by Chief Executive of NDMA Mr Hisan Hassan and other members of the delegation who are currently in Manila to attend APMCDRR 2024.
