Cadets selected for the 3rd batch of National Service Initial Training has departed to Lh. Maafilaafushi today.
Out of 1785 applicants, the first group of trainees, consisting of 352 cadets, was selected based on the National Service training criteria.
During the 14-week training at the MNDF Composite Training Centre in Lh. Maafilaafushi, the cadets will undergo training in nationhood, responsible citizenship, spiritual and mental well-being, leadership, physical training and other various life skills.
The National Service Program is a key initiative of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, aimed at nurturing a generation of productive and responsible youth who uphold Islamic values and the ethics of nationhood.
