As part of the Maldives National Service initiative of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the National Service Skills Training - Batch 2 has commenced at the School of Engineering and Logistics of MNDF Service Corps, at B. Kihaadhoo.
The training was officially inaugurated by The Chief of Defence Force, Major General Ibrahim Hilmy.
A total of 75 cadets, including 63 male and 13 female cadets from 17 atolls, will undergo the 16-week training, aimed at nurturing a generation of youth who are spiritually strong, uphold high moral standards, multi-skilled and demonstrate a strong sense of patriotism.
