Minister of State for Defence and National Service, Ms. Aishath Safoora, has participated in the UNICEF–NDMA Regional Knowledge Exchange on Child-Centred Disaster Risk Reduction and Management held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 22 to 24 June 2026.
The regional event provided a platform for sharing experiences, strengthening partnerships, and advancing child-centred disaster risk reduction initiatives across South Asia including the UNICEF led Climate Guardians initiative of the Maldives.
