Minister of Defense and National Service, His Excellency Hassan Rasheed, has met with His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two leaders engaged in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations and defense partnerships between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
Minister Rasheed expressed his appreciation to Prince Khalid bin Salman for the warm hospitality and invitation.
During the high-level talks, both Ministers focused on strengthening strategic partnerships and deepening defense cooperation. Prince Khalid bin Salman reaffirmed the close, fraternal ties between the two nations and pledged Saudi Arabia’s continued support to the Maldivian defense sector.
The delegation also exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing a mutual commitment to advancing regional security and stability.
