The handover ceremony of the Japanese grant aid of communication and diving related equipment worth 800 million Yen has been held in the MNDF Headquarters today.
On behalf of Japan government, the equipment was gifted by Ambassador Takeuchi Midori and was received by Minister of Defence, Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon on behalf of the Maldives government.
